RF Microneedling in Midland, TX

Before your microneedling session begins, a member of our staff will apply an anesthetic ointment to your skin to minimize any discomfort throughout the procedure. Once you are ready, we will glide the Genius handpiece over the treatment area. The device is equipped with 48 tiny, gold-tipped needles that gently puncture the skin and while the needles are in the skin there is a delivery of RF (radiofrequency) heating.  This creates microneedling-injury in the tissue.  Together this simultaneous heat and injury contracts the existing collagen and sets the bodies mechanism to make new elastin and collagen tissue over the next few months.  The result is a glowing, refreshed and tightened look as the skin heals.

RF microneedling generally takes about 30 – 60 minutes at our cosmetic office in Midland, TX. One advantage of this treatment is that it results in minimal downtime (3-4 days) after the procedure, though you may notice redness or swelling in the first few days as your complexion heals. Results become visible as the skin heals over several months after having RF microneedling procedure.
